Ingredients
- 8 ozs sauerkraut
- 8 hamburger buns (whole)
- 2 c turkey meat (light)
- 1 c ketchup
- 3/8 c brown sugar packed
- 1/2 c onions (chopped)
- 1/4 c water
- 2 tbsps vinegar (white)
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until tender. Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, water, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, mustard, chili powder, and paprika. Bring to a boil. Add sauerkraut. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes. Add turkey. Simmer, uncovered, until turkey is heated through and sauce has thickened.
