Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c honey
- 3/4 c water
- 1 1/4 c wheat flour (whole)
- 1 c flour (white)
- 1/2 c corn oil
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 c carob powder
- 1 tb cider vinegar
- 2 ts vanilla extract
- 1 ts baking soda
- 1/4 ts salt
Sift the flours together with baking soda, salt & carob. Stir in the sugar. In a large mixing bowl, stir together oil, water, honey, vinegar & vanilla until well blended. Add dry ingredients, mixing till well blended. Lightly oil & flour 2 8-inch cake pans. Divide batter equally between the two pans & bake at 350F for 20 minutes, or until the cakes test done.
