Ingredients
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 egg (white)
- 1 recipe by judy pearson
- 2 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 c sugar
- 1 c shortening
- 3 ts cinnamon
- 1 ts vanilla
- 1/2 ts salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks and vanilla; beat well. Sift flour, cinnamon, and salt together. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture in three additions. Make cookies and brush with unbeaten egg white. Combine cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle mixture over each cookie. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. ----
