Ingredients
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 majoram (ground)
- 1 green pepper
- 1 onion
- 1/4 muxhrooms
- 2 lb beef stew meat
- 3 c water
- 2 c cubed potatoes (peeled)
- 2 c carrots (sliced)
- 2 tb cooking oil
- 2 ts pepper
- 1 1/2 ts garlic powder
- 1 teaspoons two salt
- 1 t oregano (dried)
- 1 t rosemary
- 1 t basil (dried)
- 1 package green beans (frozen)
- 1 package peas (frozen)
- 1 package corn kernels (frozen)
Brown meat in oil in a Dutch oven. Add water, onion, seasonings and tomato paste. Cover and simmer for 1-1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Stir in potatoes, carrots and green pepper; simmer 30 minutes. Add additional water if necessary. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 20 minutes. SOURCE: "Taste of Home" Premiere Edition
