- 3/8 lb beef (ground)
- 3/8 lb veal (ground)
- 3/8 lb pork (ground)
- 1/2 c unseasoned bread crumbs
- 4 tb butter (unsalted)
- 1/4 c onions (minced white)
- 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over low to moderate
- 1/4 ts black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1/8 ts nutmeg (freshly grated)
