Ingredients
- 4 garlic (cloves)
- 1 lentils
- 3 c water
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1/2 c sweet green pepper (chopped)
- 1 tb wine vinegar (red)
- 1 tb molasses
- 1 tb olive oil
- 1 tb chili powder
- 1/2 ts cumin seeds (crushed)
- 3/8 ts cumin (ground)
- some green
tomato sauce, vinegar, and molasses, and simmer the mixture for 1 minute. When the lentils are cooked, add the vegetable mixture to the lentils, and heat the mixture through before serving it. Note: serve over rice or with corn.
