- 1 3/8 c buttermilk
- 1 1/4 c flour mixture to size bowl
- 1 1/4 c flour mixture in size bowl
- 5/8 c butter
- 3/8 c sugar
- 1/4 c buttermilk mixture
- 1 oz squares semisweet chocolate
- 4 ts baking powder
- 2 ts vanilla extract
- 1 ts salt
- 1/2 ts baking soda
with tines of fork. 5. Bake scones 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
