Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 c dates
- 1 c coconut
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/4 c butter
- 1 ts baking powder
- 2 ts orange rind (grated)
- 1 ts vanilla
- 1/2 ts salt
Melt butter, then mix well with rest of ingredients except coconut and dates. When well mixed, blend in coconut and dates. Spread in a 7x11-inch pan; bake 350~ for 30 minutes. When cool cut in squares. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar. ----
