Ingredients
- 24 prawns (uncooked)
- 1 egg
- 2 cups fine bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 pinch salt
1. Shell the prawns and butterfly them. Season with salt, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
3. Dip the seasoned prawns into the DIPPING BATTER and roll them in the breadcrumb/cheese mix.
4. Deep fat fry them at 350 degrees for approximately 2 minutes until golden brown. DIPPING BATTER: Mix all ingredients together.
