- 1 pound beef (ground)
- 15 oz pineapple chunks in juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch divided
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon onion (dried chopped)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Variation: substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
