Ingredients
- 150 gr almonds
- 230 ml cream cheese
- 120 ml mayonnaise
- 7 gr green onion
- 1 gr dillweed
- 1 gr pepper
- 5 slices bacon (sliced)
Spread almonds in a single layer in shallow pan. Bake at 150ºC , 15 minutes,stirring often, until almonds just begin to turn color. Combine creamcheese (let soften first) and mayonnaise; mix well. Add bacon, onion, dilland pepper; mix well. Cover and chill overnight. To serve, form cheesemixture into shapes of 2 pinecones on serving platter. Beginning at narrowend, press almonds at slight angle into cheese mixture in rows. Continueoverlapping rows until all cheese is covered. Garnish with artificial pinesprigs. Serve with crackers. Makes 1.5 cups.
