Ingredients
- 12 cherrystone clams
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 egg
- 65 gr bread crumbs
- 30 gr onion (finely chopped)
- 18 gr butter
- 1 gr oregano leaves
Remove clams from half shell and chop coarsely. Set clams and shellsaside.
In a medium-sized, heat-resistant, non-metallic mixing bowl place 2tablespoons butter. Heat in Microwave Oven 30 seconds or until melted.
Add onion and garlic. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 energy 3minutes or until onion is tender. Add egg, the quarter cup bread crumbs,choppedclams and oregano to onion mixture.
Spoon mixture into reserved shells. Place shells on a heatresistant,non-metallic serving platter.
In a small bowl combine the one third cup seasoned bread crumbs and the 2tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs on top of clammixture.
Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 5 minutes or until heated through.
