Ingredients
- 1 coca-cola classic
- 800 gr chicken
- 240 ml catsup
- 80 ml oil
- 65 gr green bell pepper
- 60 gr onion
- 50 gr celery
- 40 gr flour
- 30 ml worcestershire sauce
- 8 gr salt
- 6 gr salt
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr chili powder
- 1 gr basil leaves
- 1 gr pepper
Rinse the chicken and pat dry. In a bowl, mix the flour and 2 teaspoons of salt. Coat the pieces with the flour mixture. In a skillet, heat the oil. Brown the chicken all sides. Remove the browned chicken and place in a 3 litre casserole. Discard the drippings.
In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, mixing well. Spoon sauce over the chicken, making sure that all pieces are covered. Cover casserole.
Bake in a preheated, 180ÂșC oven for about 1- quarter hours, or until chicken is fork-tender. If desired, serve the chicken with the sauce over hot rice. Makes 4 to 6 servings with about 3 cups of sauce.
