- 3/4 lentils (dried)
- 850 ml chicken broth (canned)
- 90 gr onion
- 60 gr swiss cheese
- 60 gr brown rice
- 60 gr burgundy
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr thyme (dried whole)
- 1 gr basil (dried whole)
- 1 gr oregano (dried whole)
- 1 gr garlic powder
- 1 gr pepper
Combine half cup cheese and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Pour mixture into an ungreased 2 litre casserole. Cover and bake at 180ÂșC . for 2 hours, or until lentils are tender, stirring occasionally.
Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
