- 475 ml boiling water let stand overnigh in morning
- 450 gr coffee tins
- 325 gr raisins
- 300 gr sugar
- 290 gr dates (chopped)
- 270 gr maraschino cherries (chopped)
- 270 gr pecans (chopped)
- 240 gr coffee tins
- 60 ml oil
- 18 gr baking soda
- 4 gr vanilla
- 1 gr salt
Peggy Butherus--My version of fruitcake. I received the recipe from a lady over 25 years ago for Hobo Bread and added my favorie fruit, nuts, etc for a fruit cake. Anyone that has told me they hate fruitcake, wants this recipe. It's very moist. Enjoy. ----
