Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 500 gr flour
- 300 gr sugar
- 120 ml honey
- 140 gr pecans
- 110 gr butter
- 95 gr shortening
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 12 gr baking soda
- 3 gr cinnamon (ground)
- 1 gr ginger (ground)
- 1 gr salt
Additional sugar In a mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add honey, eggs and lemon juice; beat well. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture Fold in pecans. Shape into 3 cm balls; roll in sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 180ÂșC for 12-13 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove to wire racks.
