Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 2 1/2 bisquick
- 2 1/2 deep (inches)
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 550 gr sugar
- 550 gr walnuts (chopped)
- 400 gr sugar
- 350 ml milk
- 325 gr walnuts (chopped)
- 350 ml vegetable oil
- 120 ml water
- 60 ml honey
- 4 gr cinnamon (ground)
- 3 gr salt
- 3 gr baking powder
- 1 gr cinnamon
- 2 slices lemon peel
- 2 slices orange peel
toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove the cake and let it sit for 2 hours. In a medium saucepan place the 0.75 cup of sugar, water, orange peel, lemon peel, and cinnamon stick. Bring the ingredients to a boil and then simmer them for 5 minutes. Add the honey and bring the mixture to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and add the lemon juice. Stir the ingredients together and let the syrup cool. Remove the orange and lemon peels, and the cinnamon stick. Spread the syrup over the cake. Sprinkle on the quarter cup of chopped walnuts and the ground cinnamon.
