Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 1 sauerkraut
- 700 gr beef
- 260 gr polish sausage
- 240 ml wine (white)
- 230 ml tomato sauce
- 170 gr mushrooms
- 45 ml oil
- 10 ml soy sauce
- 3 gr caraway seeds
- 1 gr vegetable seasoning
Saute sausage 15 minutes, remove to casserole. Add oil to sausage drippings, brown beef in oil, 15 minutes. Remove to casserole. Saute onion, add to casserole. Saute mushrooms with sauerkraut and wine. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, caraway seeds and vegetable seasoning. Add this to casserole also, mixing well. Cover and bake at 190ºC or 2 to 2.5 hours. Stir casserole every 30 minutes.
