Ingredients
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 clove garlic (minced)
- 2 tomato paste
- 1,400 ml water
- 750 gr shrimp (cleaned)
- 240 ml oil
- 200 gr celery (chopped)
- 130 gr flour
- 65 gr bell pepper (chopped)
- 16 gr green onion tops (chopped)
- 8 gr salt
- 5 gr worcestershire
- 3 gr parsley (fresh chopped)
- 1 gr black pepper
- 1 gr pepper (red)
- 2 packages tomatoes
Make roux of flour and oil. Brown over low heat, stirring constantly. Add seasonings, onions, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Cook until soft. Add tomatoes and paste. mix well and cook about 5 minutes. Add water. Let simmer 1.5 hrs. Add shrimp, cook about 20 minutes. Add onion tops and parsley. Serve over rice.
