Ingredients
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 meaty ham bone
- 1,900 ml water (hot)
- 400 gr green split peas
- 60 gr onion (chopped)
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr celery seed
- 1 gr marjoram (dried)
- 1 gr thyme
Place all ingredients in cooker. Add the hot water. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to dozen hours. Remove bones; cut off meat and add to soup. Makes 6 to 8 servings
