Ingredients
- 4 chocolate cover toffee bars
- 1 egg
- 210 gr all purpose flour
- 110 gr margarine
- 120 ml creamy peanut butter
- 100 gr sugar
- 75 gr brown sugar (light)
- 34 gr peanuts (unsalted)
- 5 gr baking soda
- 4 gr vanilla extract
- 1 gr salt
Recipe by: Good Housekeeping Magazine December, 1994 Preheat oven to 180ºC In large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat flour, margarine or butter, sugar peanut butter, brown sugar, baking soda, vanilla extract, salt, and egg until well mixed. With wooden spoon, stir in chopped chocolate covered toffee bars. Shape dough into 2 cm balls. Place balls, about 3 cm apart, on ungreased cookie sheets. Press a peanut half into top of each ball. Bake cookies 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool. Store cooled cookies in tightly covered container. Makes about 7- half dozen cookies. ----
