Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 pecans
- 475 gr oats
- 220 gr brown sugar
- 160 gr chocolate chips
- 140 gr shortening
- 130 gr flour
- 100 gr sugar
- 60 ml water
- 4 gr vanilla
- 3 gr salt
- 2 gr baking soda
Preheat oven to 180ºC . In a large bowl, beat together white sugar, brown sugar, egg, shortening, water and vanilla until creamy. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda and add to creamed mixture. Blend well. Stir in oats, then mix in chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheets and bake dozen to 15 minutes. They will seem undercooked when you take them out, but they set up some as they cool. Makes five dozen, depending on size. ----
