Ingredients
- 9 pieplate
- 1 egg
- 1 pt whipping cream
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 3 c apples
- 7/8 c brown sugar
- 1 c all purpose flour
- 1/2 c whipping cream
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c pecans
- 2 tb water (hot)
- 2 tb rum
- 1 ts vanilla extract
- 1 ts vanilla
- 1 ts salt
- 1 ts cinnamon (ground)
warm or cold with Rum Butter Sauce and whipped cream. Sauce: Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan; mix well. Bring to a boil, and cook 1 minute. Stir in rum. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream. ----
