- 1 confectioners sugar
- 2 cups sifted cake flour
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 5/8 cup packed (light)
- 3/4 cup mashed ripe banana (very)
- 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 3/8 cup chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 tablespoons walnut (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over the top. Bake for about 20 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan, dust with confectioner's sugar and cut into squares.
