- 1/2 strawberry preserves
- 1/2 preserves on
- 1/8 thickness
- 1 5/8 c powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c molasses
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c packed brown sugar
- 2 tb water
- 3/4 ts baking soda
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1/2 ts cinnamon (ground)
- 1/2 ts ginger (ground)
- 1/4 ts vanilla extract
ingredients and frost cooled cookies. Yields: 4 dozen
