Ingredients
- 2 onions (chopped)
- 2 garlic (cloves minced)
- 1 green pepper (chopped)
- 1 cheddar cheese (shredded optional)
- 2 lb beef (ground)
- 16 oz cans kidney beans (rinsed)
- 14 1/2 oz cans tomatoes undrained (diced)
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp salt (optional)
- 1 tsp pepper
In a skillet, brown beef; drain. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the next nine ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4 hours. Garnish individual serving with cheese if desired.
