Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1 ts cream of tartar
- 1/2 ts baking soda
- 1/2 ts vanilla
- 1/2 ts salt
egg mixture. Mix thoroughly. Add stiffly beaten egg whites and flavoring. Add sufficient flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto lightly floured board. Roll in sheet 1/8 inch thick. Cut with floured cutter. Place on slightly oiled baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 F) about 10 minutes. 50 servings. ----
