- 1 egg
- 5/8 apple mixture over batter
- 5/8 batter over bottom (pan)
- 1,900 ml saucepan
- 325 gr flour
- 250 gr sugar
- 250 gr sugar divided
- 190 gr apples (peeled)
- 180 ml buttermilk
- 170 gr margarine softened
- 28 gr currants
- 22 gr corn syrup (light)
- 8 gr cornstarch
- 2 gr baking soda
- 2 gr baking powder
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr nutmeg
- 1 gr cinnamon
remaining batter and apple mixture, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake at 180ÂșC for 45 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
