Ingredients
- 3 bananas
- 2 eggs well (beaten)
- 300 gr granulated sugar (white)
- 250 gr all purpose flour
- 220 gr mashed bananas
- 170 gr butter
- 120 ml milk soured with
- 120 ml buttermilk
- 90 gr walnuts (chopped)
- 5 gr baking soda
- 5 ml vinegar
- 4 gr vanilla extract
- 2 gr salt
Preheat oven to 325�F. Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly. Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add to banana mixture, alternating with buttermilk and mixing thoroughly after each addition. Add nuts and gently mix. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 1.25 hours, or until done.
Yields 1 loaf.
