Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 65 gr all purpose flour
- 32 gr cornstarch
- 30 ml sherry
- 16 ml honey
- 12 gr salt
- 7 gr garlic powder
- 5 ml lemon juice
- 5 gr ginger (fresh)
Mix eggs, salt, garlic, flour, cornstarch, and milk tomake a smooth batter. Mix honey, lemon juice, sherryand ginger together and marinate shrimp (split inback), lobster (cut in cubes), chicken (cut in pieces1 x 5 cm), or thin-sliced pork for at least 15 minutes.
Fry dipped pieces in Peanut Oil until light brown.
OPTION: Cool fried pieces after frying, thenrefrigerate, if desired, and later redip in batter,refry until golden brown. Even crunchier, and great asappetizers for a party that you can prepare ahead andstill serve HOT at the last minute!
