Ingredients
- 30 secon turn dough out onto saran
- 10 pie (plate)
- 4 eggs (separated)
- 1 whipped cream for (garnish)
- 1/2 crisco
- 190 gr flour
- 120 gr strong brewed coffee
- 120 gr chocolate chips
- 100 gr sugar
- 60 ml water (cold)
- 45 ml water iced
- 38 gr sugar
- 12 gr cocoa
- 4 gr vanilla
- 2 gr salt
- 1 package gelatin (unflavored)
FILLING: Soften gelatin in cold water 5 minutes. Heat chips and coffee in double boiler until melted, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add gelatin, stir until dissolved. Beat egg yolks well. Add yolks, quarter C of the sugar, salt and vanilla to chocolate. Beat egg whites till foamy. Gradually add remaining quarter c sugar and beat till stiff. Fold into chocolate mixture, pile lightly into shell. Chill until firm, top with Whipped Cream. Freezes well and tastes great
