Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 any flavor jam
- 220 gr flour
- 170 gr brown sugar (light)
- 140 gr shortening
- 60 gr coconut
- 10 ml cream of tartar
- 5 gr baking soda
- 2 gr vanilla
- 1 gr salt
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add egg and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Add vanilla, and drop by teaspoonsfull onto ungreased cookie sheet. With your finger or a spoon, make an indentation in the center of the cookie ball and fill with jam or jelly. Sprinkle coconut over all and bake at 190ÂșC for 10-12 min.
