Ingredients
- 6 peychauds bitters
- 1 steak sauce
- 900 ml water
- 700 gr beef (ground)
- 400 ml tomato sauce
- 350 gr tomatoes
- 55 gr bread crumbs
- 14 gr chile powder
- 10 ml louisiana sauce (hot)
- 7 ml worcestershire sauce
- 6 gr salt
- 3 gr black pepper
- 2 gr paprika
- 2 ml hp sauce
- 2 gr sugar
- 2 gr cumin
- 1 gr nutmeg
- 1 gr cinnamon
- 1 gr coriander
- 1 gr pepper (white)
- 1 gr onion powder
- 1 gr cayenne pepper
- 1 gr allspice
- 1 gr mint (dried)
Brown the ground beef in 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add all the other ingredients, except the bread crumbs, and simmer for 3 hrs. Also, put can of tomatoes thru a food mill to remove seeds before adding to sauce. Finally add enough bread crumbs to thicken to the proper consistancy or however you like it.
