Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 unbaked nine pastry shell
- 1 sweetened whippe cream (lightly optional)
- 250 gr corn syrup (light)
- 200 gr sugar
- 120 gr almonds (chopped toasted)
- 110 gr butter
- 60 ml honey
- 4 gr vanilla
- 1 gr almond extract
- 1 gr salt
In a saucepan melt butter lover Low heat until golden brown. Cool. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add sugar, cornsyrup, honey, extracts, salt and melted butter. Stir in almonds. Pour into 23 cm unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 220ºC . for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 160ºC . Bake for 35-40 minutes longer or unitl a knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool.
