Ingredients
- 16 cans
- 2 shallots
- 2 garlic (cloves)
- 1/2 coca-cola
- 1,000 gr green beans (whole)
- 60 ml olive oil
- 30 ml vinegar
- 26 gr sugar
- 10 ml prepared mustard
- 7 gr parsley (fresh)
- 4 gr oregano leaves
- 1 gr salt
In a large bowl, combine the garlic, parsley, sugar, oregano, mustard, salt, Coca-Cola, olive oil, and vinegar, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the beans and shallots/onions, toss lightly with a fork. Pack into 1 litre jar. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight for the flavours to blend. Serve chilled or as a hot vegetable with steak, hamburger, or meat loaf.
