- 400 gr dry onion (minced)
- 325 gr dry green split peas
- 280 gr pearl barley
- 180 gr brown rice
- 170 gr alpahbet macaroni
- 140 gr cabbage
- 4 gr sal bring
- 2 slices carrots
tomato sauce, 1 (24 oz) can vegetable juice cocktail, and if desired 1 lb lean cooked ground beef or leftover cooked beef. Simmer 20 more minutes, until vegetables are cooked. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
