Ingredients
- 2 garlic (cloves)
- 900 gr cabbage (very finely shredded)
- 375 gr black-eyed peas (canned rinsed)
- 350 gr rice (hot cooked)
- 230 gr coarsely ham (chopped)
- 120 gr onion (chopped)
- 60 gr onion
- 16 ml vegetable oil
- 7 gr drippings
- 5 ml pepper sauce (hot)
- 1 gr cracked black pepper
- 1 gr salt
- 2 slices bacon (sliced)
tender-crisp. Spoon onto large platter. Ladle rice mixture into center of cabbage; crumble bacon over top of salad. Serve hot or at room temperature.
