Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 jelly roll (pan)
- 3/4 frosting
- 1/2 frosting to tint desired shade of blue
- 450 ml creamy vanilla frosting
- 325 ml buttermilk
- 300 gr strawberries (fresh cut into pieces)
- 300 gr sugar
- 250 gr all purpose flour
- 130 gr shortening
- 120 ml boiling water
- 50 gr vanilla frostin
- 45 gr hersheys cocoa
- 7 gr baking soda
- 4 gr vanilla extract
- 1 gr salt
Spread blue frosting in upper left corner. Pipe stars in blue field with reserved quarter cup vanilla frosting. Shortly before serving, place strawberries in seven rows to represent red stripes of flag. About 15 servings. * To sour milk: Use 2 teaspoons white vinegar plus milk to equal two third cup.
