Ingredients

- 2 onions
- 2 garlic (cloves minced)
- 2 stewed tomatoes
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 celery stalk (finely chopped)
- 1 tomato sauce
- 1 tomato paste
- 1 jalapeno (finely chopped)
- 1,800 gr beef (lean ground)
- 120 ml water
- 100 gr chili powder
- 70 gr green chilies (diced)
- 38 gr green chili salsa
- 10 ml oil
- 3 gr salt
In Dutch oven, saute first four starred ingredients in hot oil until tender. Add meat, 1 pound at a time, stirring until meat loses redness. Drain; add water. Add remaining ingredients, stirring after each addition. Simmer 2.5 to 3 hours, stirring frequently. Season to taste with garlic salt and pepper, if desired.
