Ingredients
- 3 garlic (cloves)
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 onion
- 1/2 green pepper
- 800 gr tomatoes (crushed)
- 450 gr beef
- 475 ml chicken stock
- 260 gr pork
- 65 gr tomato paste
- 45 ml olive oil
- 8 gr chili powder
- 1 gr basil leaves
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr cayenne pepper
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef, pork, onion, green pepper, and garlic and saute until browned, about 10 minutes. With a slotted spoon to drain off the fat, place the sauteed ingredients in a 4 litre saucepan. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Slowly bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hours.
