Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 350 gr flour
- 170 gr shortening
- 170 gr brown sugar
- 120 ml milk
- 70 gr mincemeat
- 3 gr cinnamon
- 2 gr vanilla
- 2 gr baking soda
- 2 gr baking powder
- 1 gr salt
Cream together shortening, sugar and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Add the well beaten egg. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with the sour milk/cream. Chill batter and divide. Cut on lightly floured board with a 5 cm cutter. Put together in pairs, moisten the undercrust with egg and use 1.5 tsp. of mincemeat as filling on each cookie. Pinch edges together and put on a greased cookie sheet and bake in hot oven 220ÂșC or 10-12 minutes.
