Ingredients
- 6 eggs well (beaten)
- 2 onions (finely chopped)
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 900 gr beef (ground)
- 240 ml water
- 220 gr bread crumbs-soft
- 240 ml vegetable oil
- 200 gr butterfly macaroni
- 80 gr parmesan cheese divided
- 26 gr parsley
- 3 gr garlic salt
- 1 gr rosemary
- 1 gr oregano
- 1 gr sage (ground)
- 4 packages spinach
- 1 package tomato sauce
- 1 package tomato paste
Saute onions, minced garlic and meat. Add one third cup parsley and one third cup parmesan cheese and remaining meat mixture ingredients and simmer. For spinach layer combine oil, one third cup parsley, spinach, bread crumbs, one third cup parmesan cheese, eggs and 1 tsp garlic salt and 1 tsp ground sage. Cook pasta and drain well. Sprinkle one third cup parsley and one third cup Parmesan cheese over pasta and mix well. Butter a large baking dish. Cover the bottom with a layer of pasta, then a layer of the spinach mix, then a layer of meat. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with the meat sauce. Sprinkle remaining parmesan cheese and parsley over top. Bake at 180ÂșC for 20-30 minutes.
