Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 240 gr rice cereal
- 160 gr flour
- 150 gr dates
- 120 gr coconut
- 110 gr butter
- 110 gr brown sugar
- 100 gr sugar
- 4 gr vanilla
- 2 gr baking powder
- 2 gr baking soda
- 1 gr salt
Cream sugars and butter. add egg, and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in crisp rice cereal (Rice Krispies for example), coconut, and dates. Form into 2 cm balls; place 6 cm apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 180ÂșC . until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing to a rack to cool completely. Makes 5 dozen.
