Ingredients
- 2 celery stalks
- 2 garlic (cloves)
- 1 onion (yellow)
- 1 green pepper
- 1,900 ml water
- 525 gr great northern beans
- 475 ml water
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 16 ml soy sauce
- 3 gr curry powder
- 3 gr parsley
- 1 gr black peppercorns
Preparation Time: 3:15 Cook the beans in the 2 litre water until tender, about 2 hours. Drain, reserving the liquid. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Saute the onion, celery, green pepper, and garlic in the half cup water for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add the cooked beans, 1.5 cups bean-cooking liquid, and seasonings.
