- 2 garlic (cloves)
- 1 bay leaf
- 425 ml water (cold)
- 375 gr shrimp
- 210 gr converted rice (uncooked)
- 160 gr smoked ham
- 140 gr sweet green pepper (chopped)
- 120 gr coarse onion (chopped yellow)
- 75 gr celery (finely diced)
- 5 gr parsley (minced)
- 1 gr crumbled leaf thyme
- 1 gr cayenne pepper
- 1 package tomatoes
done, and almost all of the liquid has been absorbed. Taste the jambalaya and add the cayenne pepper and salt, if needed. Makes 6 to 8 Servings
