Ingredients
- 4 carrots
- 3 celery stalks
- 32 oz tomatoes (whole)
- 1 pound beans (dried)
- 2 cup water
- 2 cup ham
- 1 cup wine (white)
- 1 1/2 cup onions
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon parsley
- 1 package chicken broth
Soak beans overnight, drain, rinse and drain again OR cover beans with 6-8 cups water and covering with vented saran wrap cook in microwave 10 minutes let sit on counter 1 hour).
Combine all ingredients in a crock pot and cook 3-4 hours on high or all day on low. Simple and simply delicious! The flavor is enhanced by allowing the soup to sit refrigerated for 1-2 days.
