Ingredients
- 18 green onions
- 6 garlic (cloves)
- 10 lb chicken drumettes
- 1 1/2 c soy sauce
- 1 1/8 c hoysin sauce
- 3/4 c jelly (plum)
- 3/4 c cider vinegar
- 3/4 c dry sherry
- 1/2 c honey
Combine all ingredients except chicken in saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Cool. Pour sauce over chicken, cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 375. Place chicken on greased cookie sheets and bake uncovered for 1 to 1-1/2 hours, basting frequently. Switch pans while cooking so that they cook evenly.
