- 1 c confectioners sugar sifted

- 5/8 c water
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1/2 c raisins fine (chopped)
- 1 1/2 tb molasses
- 1 tb butter
- 2 ts lemon juice
- 2 ts baking powder
- 1 tb cornstarch
- 1 t lemon juice
- 1 t butter

- 3/4 ts salt
- 3/4 ts lemon rind (grated)
- 1/4 ts cinnamon
- 1/8 ts nutmeg
