Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/8 in a bowl
- 1 1/2 c granulated sugar
- 2 c all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar with the melted shortening
- 3/4 c vegetable shortening (solid)
- 1/2 cup sugar in a shallow dish
- 1/4 c molasses
- 2 ts baking soda
- 1 ts cinnamon (ground)
- 1/2 ts ginger (ground)
- 1/2 ts salt
completely. Place on the prepared cookie sheet, about 2 1/2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies spread and are lightly browned on the bottom. Cool cookies on a wire rack.
