Ingredients
- 18 pie shell
 - 1 egg (whole lightly beaten)
 - 1 whipped cream
 - 1 unbaked
 - 1 bottom in size mixing bowl
 - 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
 - 1 cup crumb mixture
 - 1 cup water boiling
 - 5/8 cup brown sugar
 - 1 cup all purpose flour
 - 1/4 cup molasses
 - 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 
Bake in 400-degree oven for 25 minutes or until crust is lightly browned and filling is puffy. Remove from oven, let cool to room temperature before cutting. Top with whipped cream.
